Ferdy TURASENGA
Executive DirectorMr. Ferdy TURASENGA is a passionate, talented, and strategic entrepreneur open to new partnerships. His involvement in the energy sector led him to be one of the investors to start ENERGICOTEL PLC back in 2014. He is currently the Executive Director of ECTL where he leads an energetic team that is working on the development of new projects; of approximately 50MW of Power Generation including the Methane Gas-to-Power Pilot Project in Lake Kivu, a Hydro-power Project in Kenya, DRC, and Solar Power Plant in Zimbabwe. He studied Electrical Engineering-Power Systems at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) located in Northern Gauteng, South Africa.
Nicolas Kalisa
General ManagerMr. Nicolas KALISA MWISENEZA is an experienced engineer of over 7 years of experience where He has been involved in engineering teachings as the Vice Principal in charge of Academics and Trainings in IPRC Gishari for more than 3 years. He has benefited from some special trainings on leadership he was offered: Strategic Leadership and Management at Rwanda Management Institute by Fullbridge-USA and the Technical Vocational Education and Training course for Principals and Leaders held in Singapore. He is currently the General Manager of ENERGICOTEL PLC. He holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering from the University of Madras, Tamil Nadu-INDIA and a Master of in Energy Technology from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology- Kigali campus.
Pascaline UMUTESI
Company SecretaryMs. Pascaline UMUTESI has an experience of more than 5 years in energy projects: PPP Projects Legal Framework, Legal Structure, Agreements Negotiations and Management. She has served REG/EDCL as their Legal Specialist for 5 years where she became familiar with the Rwandan Energy sector. She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Law from the Kigali Independent University (ULK).
Prudence GATETE
Branch Manager for Rubavu, Rutsiro & Nyabihu HPPsMr. Prudence GATETE is an experienced manager in management and commercial operations, with 20 years of diverse experience. He has previously served on managerial and strategic levels in other Firms such COVIBAR as the Commercial Director for 4 years, ROYAL VILLAS HOTEL as the Director of Finance and Administration for 2 years, etc. He is currently serving as the Branch Manager of ENERGICOTEL PLC HPPs in Rubavu, Rutsiro and Nyabihu Districts. He holds a Bachelor degree in Management from Independent University of Kigali (ULK). He has also benefited from professional and technical trainings to help him upgrade his skills in hydro-power management
